Enterprise Europe NetworkThe Enterprise Europe Network, , born on 2008 (official presentation on 7 February 2008) with the support of European Commission in the framework of Competitiveness and Innovation Programme 2007-2013 (CIP), supports the European enterprises in their own internationalization and innovation process. The Enterprise Europe Network collects the previous European network of the Euro Info Centre (EIC) and Innovation Relay Centre (IRC) and counts on about 500 organizations in almost 40 Countries, in order to offer a unique SMEs assistance counter for developing their potential and innovation capacity. In Italy there are five consortiums that, joining 66 organizations, cover the whole national territory: “Alps”, “B.R.I.D.G.€conomies”, “Cinema”, “FriendEurope” e “Simpler”. Confcommercio is present in the consortiums "B.R.I.D.G.€conomies" and "Cinema" (impresaeuropa@confcommercio.it). The network consortiums supply information services, feedback with the European Commission, specialized assistance, technology transfer, internationalization support, technological support for planning (http://www.enterprise-europe-network.ec.europa.eu/).
